Target Group:
Electrical engineers, graduate
engineers, technicians, consultants, electrical contractors, building-services
personnel, and MUST Engineering students interested in electrical building
design and AutoCAD-based engineering documentation.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the course,
participants will be able to interpret architectural drawings and electrical
design requirements; prepare electrical design bases and coordinated AutoCAD
drawings; perform load, maximum-demand, cable-sizing, voltage-drop and
short-circuit calculations; design lighting, distribution, final circuits,
earthing and protection systems; apply energy-efficiency and demand-side
management measures; and prepare professional electrical design documentation,
BOQs, compliance checklists, inspection and testing documents, and
commissioning records.
Mode of Delivery:
Physical (Face-to-Face) Training,
comprising approximately 35% technical instruction, 50% supervised practical
and engineering calculation work, and 15% assessment and technical
presentation.
