Description of the Short/Professional Course
Modern engineering systems are becoming increasingly complex, requiring engineers and researchers to move beyond traditional design approaches and adopt advanced modelling and simulation techniques for analysis, optimization, and decision-making. This short course on Advanced Engineering Modelling and Simulation is designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and hands-on skills in developing mathematical models, simulating engineering systems, and interpreting simulation results to support effective engineering design and performance evaluation. The course integrates theoretical concepts with industry-relevant computational tools, enabling participants to model dynamic, nonlinear, and multidisciplinary systems encountered in modern engineering
