1.  Introduction to Electrical installation and Workplace safety procedures.

2.  Uses and selection of electrical tools, materials and Methods of wiring systems.

3.  Lighting and Power Circuits Installations, from simple to complex circuits as applied in modern electrical installation.

4.  Installation of Earthing Systems and other Protection Devices

5.  Use of Electrical measurement tools and testing the Installed Electrical System

6.  Introduction to Solar Power System

7.  Types, connection, selection and sizing of Solar Modules/Pannels

8.  Application, selection and sizing of the Charger Controller for a designed solar PV system

9.  Application, types and selection of a Solar Battery for a designed solar PV system.

10.                 Application and selecting the correct size of an Inverter for a solar PV system

11.                 Installing a Complete Solar PV System

12.                 Electrical drawings Interpretation and common electrical fault troubleshooting in Electrical systems.

Target Group

Individuals engaged in Domestic Electrical Installation and Solar PV Works including form four levers, Standard seven levers, Electrical Technicians and Artisans who want to upgrade their Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge in Electrical Systems.

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to understand the guiding principles behind Domestic Electrical Installation, safety procedures when working with electrical systems, Installation of Domestic Electrical Systems, Measurement of Electrical parameters, Troubleshoot and repair Electrical System common faults.
