Training/Event Description

Information Systems and Technology is a department under the College of Information and Communication Technology (CoICT) at Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST). The department’s core mission is to provide top-quality teaching, carry out impactful research, and offer industry-relevant consultancy services in the diverse disciplines of ICT. The department offers long term in different levels namely (Ph.D, Master’s, Undergraduate degree and Diploma) and short courses in different fields of ICT. To enhance skills and knowledge in ICT, the department has developed a short course that could be offerd in different time period and invites a wide range of stakeholders to apply. The course will be conducted at Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST), as outlined in the schedule provided below.

Learning Objectives

Learners will be able to master the technical and ethical skills required to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities within a legal framework. Learners will be exposed to the phases of ethical hacking and will be able to simulate real-world threats, perform vulnerability assessments, and produce reports that help organizations strengthen their defenses against threat actors.

Participation Fee

  1. 300,000 TZS for Tanzanian students
  2. 300 USD for International students
