Course Description

This short course introduces the principles of child protection and the case management process. Learners will understand how to identify risks to children, respond safely, and support children’s well-being while following ethical and legal standards.

Target Group

Individuals engaged in children’s activities: Primary and Secondary School Teachers, Police (Dawati la jinsia) Religious Leaders, Employers, Parents and Guardians.

Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

•        Understand child protection concepts and children’s rights

•        Identify child protection risks and concerns

•        Apply the child protection case management process

•        Use ethical, child-friendly, and safe approaches

•        Work with families and referral services effectively
